By blending theory with real-world experience, Mr. Wægger equiped students with tools to conduct high-impact negotiations, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and resolve conflicts effectively.

The session featured three accomplished Assistant Research Officers from the Commonwealth Secretariat, Mr. Sarthak Roy, Mr. Kartikeya Garg, and Mr. Kyle de Klerk, bringing insights from their diverse work across governance, trade, and natural resource management. Mr. Sarthak Roy emphasized the challenges to multilateralism and the need for strong international cooperation amidst conflicts and political fragmentation. Mr. Kyle de Klerk highlighted the evolving role of the WTO and Free Trade Agreements, explaining how trade frameworks adapt to global economic disruptions. Mr. Kartikeya Garg discussed the fragmentation in environmental governance, stressing the importance of climate resilience, especially for vulnerable nations.
